摘要

In a converter plant of the Ilyich metallurgical combine (Mariupol, Ukraine) the system of energy-saving technologies basing on high-performance out-of-furnace treatment of steel in a ladle pot and it continuous casting on slab steel continuous casting plant (SCCP) by superlong series is introduced. The heightening of a steel serial index on SCCP is reached owing to harmonization of working conditions and wear rate of pouring box's working lining and operation stability of the stopper-monoblock guaranteeing of casting within 20-22 hours of continuous work. On the average estimations the energy-saving effect in LD plant's conditions of combine has made, at least, 17-18 percent from design indexes of SCCP work.
