The spin dynamics in the vicinity of the spin-gap phase transition for the organic conductor (TMTTF)_2PF_6 were examined by pulsed-ESR spectroscopy. An anomaly in the relaxation time was observed in this intermediate region between the ground state and the high-temperature phase and was associated with the charge re-orientation originating in the transverse magnetic interaction. The calculation of the overlap integrals implied considerable inter-chain interactions. The transverse magnetic interaction plays an important role of the spin-gap phase transition in (TMTTF) _2PF_6.
