The No. 2 continuous casting shop (No. 2CC) in the Kure Works of Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd., (Kure Works) is mainly producing slabs of ordinary steel and holds a record for maximum duration of non-stop casting for 10 days by using two tundish cars in alternate shifts.
