Recently, we have read with interest an article titled 'Autoantibodies in chronic hepatitis C virus infection and their association with disease profile' by Williams et al. [1] and we would like to share our experience and results of applying the new autoantibody detection method called autoimmune target (AIT) test on Korean patients infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV).
