Coffee ports go head to head for new business

Since 2000, the Port has averaged more than 260,000 tons of coffee per year, and although the port was terribly hard hit by Hurricane Katrina it has been well and truly back on its feet for some time now. "Against all odds we were able to recover," Allan Colley, president of Dupuy Storage and Forwarding, said recently, noting that in fact Dupuy had re-established all of its operations by January 2006 after many of its facilities, which includes 1 million square feet of storage space, received flood and wind damage.
