The Medical Artists' Association held their 66th annual conference earlier in the year and from all the entries submitted to their members exhibition, this 3D illustration by Matt Briggs was selected to win the Gold Award. Matt is an accomplished designer and Illustrator who studied scientific illustration at Blackpool and the Fylde College. Matt began using blender around 10 years ago when he set out to find a way of learning 3D animation without having to pay a lot of money for the expensive mainstream applications.
