Efficacy of Dermanol and Anbioflam in the treatment of sarcoptic mange in dogs

The efficacy of new herbal miticides, Dermanol and Anbioflam was evaluated against natural infection of sarcoptes mites on dogs. Dogs of one group were treated topically with Dermanol ointment and another group of dogs were treated with Dermanol topically and Anbioflam @ one to two capsules per dog per os as per their body weight. The efficacy was ascertained on the basis of clinical improvement and disappearance of mites in skin scrapings. Dermanol ointment showed complete cure on tenth day of application. However, additionally administration of Anbioflam capsule showed better efficacy in terms of earlier recovery and without recurrence.
