Babesia species in a cat- A Case Report

A detailed morphological study of a large Babesia sp. in a cat and its successful treatment with berenil is hereby reported. The organisms appeared as single, in pairs or as multiples upto eight trophozoites within the erythrocytes and measured on anaverage 2.4 x 1.3 mu.
