Primary Cooling of Coke Gas. Its Cleaning from Tar Substances and Naphthalene in Electrical Filters

In May, 1998, the Russian Metallurgical Company Close Corporation commissioned the first phase of the facility for collecting the chemical by-products of the coking process with primary gas coolers and electric filters, which was designed and built according to the project and contract with the Krupp Koppers Company. According to the project, eight primary gas coolers with horizontal tubes of high throughput (40000 m~3/h each) and six electric filters should be mounted.
