Drugs and their improper uses in day to day life

Drugs when used without achieving any tangible goal may be called misuse of the drugs, when used with ulterior motive. Unfortunately the doctors as well as the society do not pay due concern for the misuse of drugs but for the abuses. Keeping this in mind, doctor should practise rationally besides behaving. Modern day drugs are a boon to the society as long as they are prescribed in proper doses and when done by a doctor only. Drugs in many occasions are used as lifesaving measures like emergency management of acute myocardial infarction or serious infective conditions. The role of steroids in modern day emergency managements is also known to all the doctors.
