摘要

Windows based Virtual Instrument (VI) programs in graphic language simplify the design automation in R&D laboratories. With minimal hardware and maximum support of software, the automation becomes easier and user friendly. A novel design approach for the automation of low temperature resistivity experiment with indigenously developed Virtual Instrument program in Lab VIEW ver 6.0 and with a simple hardware design compatible with PC's LPT port for the total automation of the experiment is described in this paper.
