摘要

Detection of live human is a challenge in the border by the military. Here we design a robot for live human detection. The robot is controlled by the DualTone Multi Frequency (DTMF) signals sent from a remote place. A camera acquires the live-feed of the affected area. A Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor is employed to detect the presence of live human beings. The robot has a microcontroller to communicate with the peripherals and take necessary actions. The Global Positioning System (GPS) module keeps track of the geographical information of the robot. As soon as a live human is detected, the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) module sends an alert message along with the information sent by the GPS. Live human detecting robot thus designed is compact, has a good performance and real-time response. It has high performance and is quite efficient for the desired task.
