摘要

Civil application like sea-surveillance, air-surveillance etc. requires maneuverable vehicles such as aircrafts, ships etc. be tracked accurately. A Linear Kalman filter has been proposed with new adaptive process noise co-variance (Q) based on moving window technique. Using this technique encouraging results are observed for position and velocity estimation of maneuverable vehicles. The performance of the filter has been evaluated on the basis of Noise Reduction Ratio (NRR). Also effect of window sizes on performance of Kalman filter has been evaluated.
