m-learning: The Technology to Articulate the Traditional Mobile Interactive Learning Platform with Cloud Computing

The mobile revolution is finally here in the form of m-learning, which is a natural extension of e-learning. In a span of years, Mobile learning or m-learning will be making an exponential leap from theory explored by academicians to a real contribution to learning. Globally speaking, the kind of penetration that mobile phones have reached is astounding and no other device can come any closer, not even computers. No demography is immune from the mobile phone and it has slowly become associated with the youth in a bigger way. Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand, as with the electricity grid. If the power of cloud computing is added to m-learning & the interactive platform is created with its interpolation then it would revolutionize the traditional m-learning way towards a mobile K-NET or M-Net which is a mobile knowledge repository.
