摘要

The triazole nucleus has been associated with diverse biological activities.1.2.4,-Triazoles have been reported to exhibit significant antimicrobial,anthelmintic,antiinflammatory and analgesic activities.1.4-Dihydropyridine represents one of the most active classes of compounds possessing a range of pharmacological activity.In view of these observation,we now report the synthesis of 3-hydroxy-5-(4.-substituted aryl-1,4'-dihydro-3 pyridyl)-1.2,4-triazoles(IIIa-e)and 4-acetyl-2-acetylamine-5-[4'-substituted aryl-1-1.'4' dihydro-3'-pyridyl] 1,3,4 thiadiazolines(Va-e)and their antimicrobial activities have been discussed.
