摘要

Violation is the most economical technique for upgrading the phosphate ore.Various flotation techniques are available for beneficiation.The selection of a technique should be made based on the phosphate composition.The high lime Syrian phosphate requires carbonate flotation to reduce the high contents of CaO and MgO and to reduce CaO/P_2O_5 ratio.In this study,two-stage carbonate flotation with two different collectors (oleic add and SDBS) ham been carried out to get the upgraded phosphate.The chemical behaviour of reagents in the frothing tank and the interpretation of upgrading process have been studied.Kinetic model of first-order separation is assumed and the kinetic constants are obtained.Both the utilized collectors have been compared using kinetic results,and it is found that the process with the addition of oleic acid is faster than that with the addition of SDBS.The process enhance both the weight and P_2o_5,recoveries.The chemical studies show that the selected nagents are suitable for the beneficiation process.The kinetic study plots show a good agreement with the assumed model (first-order separation).
