Optimal Designing of Skip-Lot Sampling Plan of Type SkSP-2 With Double Sampling Plan as the Reference Plan

In this article, we propose the optimal designing methodology to determine the parameters of a skip-lot sampling plan of type SkSP-2 plan with double sampling plan as the reference plan. The two points on the operating characteristic curve approach are used to find the optimal parameters of the proposed plan. Tables are also constructed by considering the various combinations of acceptable quality level and limiting quality level along with respective producer and consumer's risks, and examples are also given for the application of the proposed plan. The advantages of the proposed plan over the conventional single and double sampling plan are also discussed.
