To the Editor: We read with interest the article by White-Chu et al on the cultural revolution in long-term care (LTC). We express some doubts on their optimistic approach to the revolution in LTC; in particular, we would be more prudent in the emphatic use of this word, reminiscent of errors performed to change human condition. The respect for the. dignity of elderly persons does not belong to a peculiar vision of caring, but should naturally belong to any act directed to frail persons.
