摘要

In this paper, an unbalanced-type hydraulic cartridge valve is chosen for the study of the possibility to enhance its dynamics by reducing the flow force. First, a new poppet with modified geometry is proposed to compensate the flow force. Second, an analytical model using CFD is developed to support the formulation mid calculation of the flow and compensation force in the tested cartridge valve. The numerical results show that the flow force in the newly-designed valve with a modified poppet is successfully compensated mid eliminated. Finally, a series of experiments are carried out mid the experimental results show that the pressure response of the newly developed cartridge valve is faster than that of the conventional cartridge valve.
