摘要

A numerical simulation on rotating compression forming of ring based on finite element method is developed by using the commercial software-SUPERFORM, and the effects of friction factor, rotating angular velocity, reduction, aspect ratio etc upon compression force, effective stress distribution, effective strain distributions and velocity field are obtained systematically. The model based on the FEM also compares with the slab method. With a view to verifying the acceptance of these models, the experiment of rotating compression forming of ring is performed by using aluminum alloy A6061. The analysis results are in good agreement with the experiment.
