摘要

In this paper, the dimensions of a forming product are measured and the orientations related to the rolling direction are determined automatically by using the image processing technology. The height of a drawn cylindrical cup is usually irregular on the top edge owing to the effect of material anisotropy. The proposed image processing technology is able to measure the values of cup height in all directions. The measured cup height data are compared to find the maximum and minimum points of the profile. The maximum profile deviation is calculated using the vertical distance of the maximum and minimum points. The texture orientations of the drawn cup are determined by the proposed searching algorithm. The cup height profile is useful not only for the quality control of product but also the detail comparison of the CAE results and experimental data.
