摘要

This paper describes the design and implementation of full order anti-windup with an actuator amplitude-rate limiter for an AC motor speed control system. Traditional schemes normally use a feedback type amplitude-rate limiter which causes problems due to integral term and ensures local stability. Based on the Ersatz model of actuator amplitude-rate limiter, existing anti-windup architecture is modified with the incorporation of a rate term which removes the conservatism due to an integral term. Generalized Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) are developed for a full order antiwindup compensator which ensures global stability and performance. For experimental validation, the developed scheme is implemented for a load driven AC motor speed control and practical results are shown for different selections of amplitude-rate limits.
