From neuroimaging to intergenerational research, this issue of the Journal provides exciting findings in the field of child mental health. One of these articles explores the relation between parental and child self-harm, and others provide an interesting prevalence comparison between DSM-IV and DSM-5 criteria for autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and a potential diagnostic measurement for attention-deficit /hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
