摘要

The paper gives the results of numerical studies of the influence of various factors on the temperature distribution in compacts of diamond-containing composites (DCC) during fast electrical sintering under pressure. We have found that at the stage of cooling under pressure (after completion of heating), as compared to the stage of heating, the temperature in the compact reaching a level optimal for DCC densification, the maximum temperature difference across the compact does not decrease enough to reach its allowed value. Therefore, even at the heating stage the allowed level of the temperature difference should not be exceeded. We have carried out a series of numerical experiments, and on the strength of analysis of the experimental results we have proposed specific variants of structural components of the technological unit and heating modes of the process of fast electrical sintering of DCC.
