Lately, I've been considering doing something that, having done once, I promised myself I would never do again. That would be writing a book. I gave it a try shortly after beginning my first job at the University of Arizona. I like to think of the result, Imaging and Hypertension , as an artistic success, even a cult classic. Sales? Suffice it to say that the publisher did not request that I write a second edition. I wouldn't have agreed even if they had. It was hard work and a far cry from the most interesting thing I have ever done.
