摘要

"Climate-Change" as defined in RA 9729 known as the Philippine Climate-Change Act of 2009 refers to a change in climate that can be identified by changes in the mean and/or variability of its properties and that persists for an extended period, typically decades or longer, whether due to natural variability or as a result of human activity. Generally, it is widely claimed to result in global warming, and unpredictable rainfall patterns, floods and droughts impacts on food security and agricultural productivity as climate affects the capacity of a country to feed its people and generate adequate quantity and acceptable quality of crops in a sustained way.
