THE FIRST COCONUT FESTIVAL IN BEN TRE PROVINCE, VIETNAM

摘要

In order to introduce and broadcast economic, cultural and eco-tourism potential of Ben Tre province, the largest coconut growing province of Vietnam, as well as to attract investments for the coconut industry and tourism, from January 13th to 19th 2009, the First Coconut Festival was opened in Ben Tre province as its most significant event in the year 2009 to celebrate the Lunar New Year, and especially the Inauguration of Rach Mieu Bridge. This bridge breaks the isolated position of Ben Tre and boosts the development of the province in the future.
