Intracardiac Myxoma Complicating with Acute Aortic and Bilateral iliac Arterial Occlusion

Cardiac myxoma usually arises from the left atrial cavities. Embolism caused by necrotic tumor fragments or thrombi from the surface of the myxoma is a well-known clinical entity, which results in variant clinical presentation depending on the location of embolic events. We report the imaging and histopathologic findings of a case of intracardiac myxoma complicating with acute aortic and bilateral iliac arterial occlusion due to tumor emboli after severe cough.
