Field experiments were conducted at CCS HAU Regional Research Station,Gurgaon,during 1996-97 and 1997-98 to study the effect of potassium and sulphur on growth attributes,yield and oil content of Indian mustard.The study revealed that plant height,pod length,number of seed per pod,1000 grain weight,seed yield and oil content were significantly higher with the application of all levels of potash and sulphur over control during both the years.Combination of 75 kg K_2O+60 kg S ha~(-1)(K_2S_3)incresed the seed yield by 46.48%during 1996-97 and 49.24% during 1997-98 over control (K_0S_0).Oil content of Indian mustard was improved appreciably when crop was fertilized with 60 kg S ha~(-1)which was 38.9 to 41.1% during 1996-97 and 39.5 to 41.6% during 1997-98 over no sulphur application.
