摘要

A field experiment was conducted during winter (rabi) season of 1999-2000 on sandy loam soil at Research Farm of B. 11. U. to study the effect of varying doses of sulphur through two sources i. e. gypsum and elemental sulphur at varying fertility levels on Indian mustard cv. Pusa Bold. Significant improvement in growth and yield attributing characters (siliquae/plant, siliqua length, seed yield/ plant and test weight) and growth characters (plant height, dry matter/plant, number of functional leaves,primary branches and secondary branches/plant) was observed with increasing fertility levels from 25 to 100% of recommended dose. Lucid improvement in growth and yield attributing characters was observed with increasing sulphur level upto 50 kg/ha fromcontrol.
