Indeed, the microsurgery of lymphatic vessels requires extremely precise microscopes with high magnification. They must be able to distinguish the wall and the lumen of translucent vessels, which calibre is usually inferior than 0.8 mm.1"5 Thanks to recent innovations in industrial and telescopic microscopes, the magnification and quality of surgical microscopes have considerably imDroved.
