Mango (Mangi/era indica L.) belonging to the family Anacardiaceae is the national fruit of India. Owing to excellent flavour, attractive colour, delicious taste and high nutritive value, this prized fruit has occupied premier position in our country and also in the international market. From the nutritional point of view ripe mango is a rich source of sugar, excellent source of vitamin A and contains fair amount of various mineral. Growth regulators play vital role in enhancing the yield and qualitycharacters of various fruits.
