This book is edited by Hoang Pham. There are four main parts of the book: reliability modeling (6 chapters), software quality engineering (6 chapters), software reliability modeling (5 chapters) and maintenance and inspection policies (6 chapters). The part on reliability modeling covers topics related to marginal distributions for a semi-Markov process, optimal check pointing interval, use of control charts for monitoring interarrival times, issues in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) architecture, economic manufacturing quality models and acceler ated testing applications. These six chapters are quite diverse and do not have one focus.
