The effect branch girdling at different widths was studied in terms of the fruit set and branch maturity of the table grape (Vitis vimfera L.) varieties Centennial Seedless. Lizhamate. and Jingxiu.The girdling treatments significantly increased branchmaturity and modified the fruit set. as compared with the controls The berry size, soluble solid content, and berry weight were not likewise significant by girdling.
