摘要

After substituting Co for Fe, the effects on the crystallization behaviour and magnetic properties of as-milled Nd(Fe0.92B0.08)(5.5) + 45wt% alpha -Fe and Nd(Fe0.8Co0.12B0.08)(5.5) + 45wt% alpha -Fe have been investigated using differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction and a pulsed magnetometer. It has been discovered that substituting Co for Fe greatly improves the magnetic properties, with increases in the room-temperature coercivity H-c from 3.53 kOe to 4.23 kOe, in the remanence ratio M-r/M-s from 0.65 to 0.71 and in the maximum energy product (BH)(max) from 13.5 MGOe to 17.8 MGOe, under optimal annealing conditions. These improvements in the magnetic properties can possibly be attributed to the decrease in the crystallization temperature of the amorphous phase resulting from the introduction of Co.
