On the cubic modular transformation and the cubic lattice Green functions

The elliptic modular transformation of order 3 is used to prove that the lattice Green functions at the origin for the face-centred cubic and simple cubic lattices can both be expressed in terms of the square of a complete Elliptic integral of the first kind. [References: 30]
