Angiomyofibroblastoma and Aggressive Angiomyxoma

Angiomyofibroblastoma and aggressive angiomyxoma are 2 very rare mesenchymal tumors found in the vulva. Both generally present as a nontender vulvar swelling. They are usually benign, but aggressive angiomyxoma is locally invasive and has a high rate of recurrence. We report 2 cases with similar presentations, both preopera-tively diagnosed as a Bartholin's cyst. Both tumors were large, measuring 20 and 14 cm, respectively. They were excised in their entirety and there has been no sign of recurrence. Both shared similar clinical and histopathologlc features causing diagnostic problems, which is often the case.
