NYMEX look-alike firmly in 100 dollars-plus territory

For a third day running, NYMEX look-alike prices continued their march past 100/short ton in the over-thecounter market. In the look-alike market, at least three transactions for Q3 2008 shot past 100 dollars/short ton, with at least two trades occurring at 100.25 dollars/st and one at 100.75 dollars/st. There was some reported trading activity among Q4 2008 with two trades, 98.70 dollars/st and 98.50 dollars/st, that are following the general trend of pushing look-alike prices nearer to the 100 dollars/st mark.
