The eyes have it, at least when itcomes to new, noninvasive diagnos-tics. For example, there's optical co-herence tomography, or OCT. ImprovedOCT technology promises better monitor-ing and treatment of glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, two leadingcauses of blindness. Other innovations in-volve wavefront sensing, where techno-logical innovations could result in betterlenses, more accurate lasik for correcting vision and better imaging of the eye.
