摘要

A novel mixed-valence molybdenum(IV,VI) arsenate(III), Ni(H_2NCH_2CH_2NH_2)_3[(Mo~(IV)O_6)Mo_6~(VI)O_(18)(As_3~(III)O_3)_2]H_2O, was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. The polyanion cage derives from the Anderson structure, in which the central octahedral was filled up by molybdenum(IV) and it was capped on both sides by a novel As_3O_6~(3-) cyclo-triarsenate(III). The title compound had a high catalytic activity for the oxidation of benzaldehyde to benzoic acid using H_2O_2 as oxidant in a liquid-solid biphase system.
