摘要

Two novel coordination polymers, {[Cu(ip)(Him)(2)(DMF)]center dot H2O} (1) and Co(ip)(Him)(2) (2), (ip = isophthalate, Him = imidazole) were prepared under hydrothermal conditions and their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray structural analysis reveals that 1-D zigzag metal-organic chains are connected to form a 3-D supramolecular framework in compounds 1 and 2 by hydrogen-bonding and pi-pi interaction or other intermolecular contacts. Infrared, UV-vis, and elemental analysis were performed to characterize the two compounds. The result of magnetic determination for compound 2 shows there exist antiferromagnetic interaction between magnetic centers. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
