Qureshi (2013) discussed the subject of examiners' perspective of candidates for the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) certificate and it is interesting and encouraging to see the great response of examiners towards the candidates.Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) are an area of great debate in medical education. They are not subject to the rigorous anonymity barrier normally unanimous across other exams. Examiners in the OSCE setting have the potential to favour or bias students unconsciously, due to previous anonymous interaction and familiarity. To that extent, it would be of interest to compare the examiners' perspectives to those of the candidates, and also to see the extent that examiners knew the candidates prior to examination and if this had a result on their 89% satisfaction rate with the candidates.
