Occupational noise exposure and hearing damage

The occupational hearing loss is irreversible and incurable. The sustained campaign should be launched by the management to reduce workers' noise exposure by engineering and administrative controls. For its success, a commitment by both the management and the workers is essential. Protecting noise emission levels in projects is usually conduced using environmental noise computer modeling software. RTA Technology Private Ltd.'s environmental noise model is currently the most frequently used. Another such model is the German sound plan. As hearing loss affects practically all body systems of man, Helen Keller once rightly said that "blindness only cuts people off from things, deafness cuts people off from people".
