摘要

For the first time,stable aqueous dispersions of polymer-coated graphitic nanoplatelets can be prepared via an exfoliation/in-situ reduction of graphite oxide in the presence of poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate).Graphite nanoplatelets have recently attracted considerable attention as a viable and inexpensive filler substitute for carbon nanotubes in nanocomposites,given the predicted excellent in-plane mechanical,structural,thermal,and electrical properties of graphite.
