Global crisis produced noticeable influence on the external trade of Russia in inorganic chemicals. The situation in the global market had a decisive influence on quantitative parameters of the Russian export and import of inorganics: arising of the excessive supply and, consequently, of the excessive export potential, against the backdrop of reduction of the demand (particularly in the industrial countries) has led to additional supply. These tendencies, together with certain decline of Russian internal consumption of inorganics, as the global crisis was spreading on the Russian economy, determined the below presented current changes in the Russian trade in inorganic chemicals.
