摘要

As part of our 3D proton MR spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) studies of intracranial tumors, we carried out a repeatability study in normal volunteers. While analyzing these data we detected an interesting statistical observation: measurement error proportional to the mean, which, to the best of our knowledge, has not been documented before and which may, therefore, be of interest. While we acknowledge that this observation might be specific to our particular combination of hardware and pulse sequence parameters, we feel that the result is still noteworthy.
