A NEW ASSOCIATION TO REPRESENT CANADIAN TEXTILE INDUSTRY INTERESTS

Since the closure of the Canadian Textiles Institute (CTI) in July 2008, the Canadian textile industry had been without a national association to represent its interests. In the meantime, government initiatives and policy decisions affecting textile manufacturers, their suppliers and their customers continued to be conceived and implemented essentially without the industry's knowledge and strategic input.
