摘要

Metal-oxide composites have high scientific interest and technological applications due to their good mechanical and special electric properties. Their interfaces play an important role in the application of many advanced materials such as structure composites, ceramic coatings on metal for abrasion or corrosion protection and microelectronic package and sometimes are the controlling feature in the macroscopic properties of these materials. Therefore, a fundamental study and a basic understanding of the microstructure and the properties of metal-oxide composite interfaces are of importance from both scientific and technological points of view. The dependence of the macroscopic properties on the microstructure has been extensively studied for the composites, especially for the interfaces between the oxide precipitates and metal matrix [1-5]. Understanding of their correlation has been progressing. The detailed information on the metal-oxide interfaces fed back from the microstructure characterization by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) forms the base for design and improving of the metaloxide composite materials.
