摘要

Low-nickel metastable austenitic stainless steels (Cr-Mn-Ni-N stainless steels) are a modification of the popular austenitic stainless steel grade AISI 304. These metastable steels undergo strain-induced martensitic transformation during room-temperature deformation. Austenite is transformed into marten-site and this affects the mechanical properties. The strain-induced martensitic transformation can occur between Ms and a much higher temperature A/d, when a certain level of plastic strain is exceeded [1-7].
