From the Arctic to Avalon: Papers in Honour of Jim Tuck is a collection of papers from a conference honoring James Tuck in October of 2004 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The papers in this volume demonstrate the substantial role that Tuck had, and continues to have, in transforming the archaeology and history of North America. While not focused on a single archaeological audience in terms of culture and period, his research provided valuable data and theoretical insight that many in our field will find instructive and constructive, particularly those who work in North America, high latitude zones, and coastal regions.
